About the Role
Immediate Media Co is home to some of the UK's most beloved consumer brands, including Radio Times, Good Food and BBC Gardeners’ World. Our trusted, quality content reaches millions monthly across digital, social, print, video, vodcasts, apps and live events. We aim to bring joy to our audiences by helping them get more out of the things they love, whether food, TV, gardening, motoring, history or parenting. This creates a highly engaged, high-intent audience and a powerful opportunity for brands to connect at key decision-making moments. Sitting on a wealth of unique audience data and insight, the Commercial Innovation team transforms these strengths into commercial formats and opportunities, packaging them clearly for the sales team to take to market.

As the Commercial Innovation Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract, you will lead the development of new commercial opportunities and support the evolution of existing ad products, ensuring they are clearly defined, up-to-date and market-ready. Collaborating with Insight, Commercial Data, Product, Delivery, Editorial, Native and Sales teams, you will translate audience and brand strengths into structured, sellable formats with clear use cases, positioning, deliverables, process and pricing.

You will lead Sales Enablement by providing the sales team with the right materials, tools and guidance to confidently sell new, existing and improved products. This includes building and maintaining clear, consistent sales collateral and simplifying how we present our proposition to clients. You will implement and manage processes to support consistent development, packaging and rollout of new products across the business.

- Overseeing pilots of new formats with clear success criteria and profitability tracking
- Maintaining the Avid platform and all sales materials to ensure alignment with commercial priorities
- Building and maintaining documentation for consistent delivery and long-term product use
- Tracking product performance post-launch to inform improvements and build compelling case studies
- Managing the central suite of sales materials and enabling sales teams to access and request support
- Communicating new products, updates and priorities clearly and timely across sales teams
- Supporting regular sales learning sessions and maintaining the sales calendar
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to identify gaps and future opportunities
- Playing a key role in Product & Innovation and Sales Enablement OKR working groups
