
Location
Richmond, with a combination of onsite and home working. Applicants should be able to regularly travel to the Kew site for a minimum of 60% of their work time.
Hours
Full Time. Requests for part-time, flexible working, and job share will be considered based on operational needs.
Salary
£35,759 per annum, plus a £10,359 contribution towards membership of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented B2B marketeer with an interest in history and the cultural sector. This role is crucial in supporting The National Archives' strategic objectives and vision to increase profile and deepen engagement nationally and globally, both in person and online. You will develop and manage a range of marketing campaigns focusing on professional and business-to-business commercial products and services such as the Image Library and Digitisation Services. Additionally, you will provide marketing and brand support to Licensing and Publishing projects, collaborating with external partners to launch and promote new products and publications to consumers. You will also support all departments across the organisation with strategic marketing needs, including events, conferences, social media, and digital engagement.
Experience
- Business-to-business marketing and/or launching new products or commercial initiatives
- Developing and managing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns from start to finish, including multimedia, email, and social media
- Excellent written English with versatile copy editing skills
- Strong interpersonal and team-working skills, experience in leading project teams, presenting, and influencing
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work flexibly, think creatively to solve problems, and demonstrate sound judgement
- Numerate with the ability to interpret data and statistics, proficient in Excel and database use
