About the Role
Join Janus Henderson for a 12 month maternity leave cover opportunity as Compliance Manager within the Markets Advisory team. You will lead the Janus Henderson Control Room for EMEA, acting as the initial receiver of market sounding opportunities and ensuring the receipt of inside information is handled in line with regulatory expectations. Your responsibilities will include liaising with Portfolio Managers on wall crossing opportunities, undertaking Market Abuse advisory activities such as reviewing regulatory updates and assessing their impact on the firm, and carrying out other duties as assigned. Requirements

Experience
A detailed understanding of market abuse regulations and market sounding regulatory guidance is essential. Experience assessing Inside Information and making risk-based decisions is required. Previous experience in a control room setting or trade surveillance team at an investment firm is highly desirable. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines is important.

About you
Strong interpersonal skills to manage key stakeholders such as Portfolio Managers. A strong eye for detail and the ability to make sound judgments. You should be adaptable and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
Previous experience with My Compliance Office and Charles River order management system is advantageous but not essential. Supervisory responsibilities are not required for this role. Commitment to ongoing training, career development, and continuing education is expected. You will be required to understand and abide by the regulatory obligations of the firm and comply with all relevant policies and codes of ethics.
