20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (including a 1-hour lunch break), with occasional evening and weekend shifts.
Salary
£16,624 per annum (pro rata)
About the Role
As a Concierge at Notting Hill Genesis, you will provide a professional, secure, and well-maintained reception desk, delivering a high standard of service to visitors. You will be the customer champion by offering a consistent and customer-focused receptionist service that achieves high levels of customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality customer service to a variety of centre users by diagnosing issues, providing advice, giving instructions, and resolving both basic and complex issues. You will act as an effective liaison between residents, estate management, property management teams, and contractors.
You will coordinate the day-to-day running of the community centre, respond to enquiries promptly and effectively, manage bookings for partner organisations and new hirers, and order essential stationery, cleaning products, and other necessary supplies.
Regularly patrolling the centre to ensure safety and uphold cleaning standards will be part of your role, as well as ensuring all risks are promptly dealt with or reported appropriately. You will assist the Communities and Social Value team in delivering an outstanding service to residents and centre users.
Working in line with NHG's Placemaking principles—estate management, community, people, and brand—you will deliver a consistent service to all residents regardless of tenure.
Experience
Effective IT skills including MS Office or similar programs to manage databases, reports, and spreadsheets.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional telephone manner and ability to handle email responses professionally.
