About the Role
Join Notting Hill Genesis as a Lead Analyst - Strategic Projects and play a key role in driving process improvements, cost-efficiency, and smarter decision-making across a variety of strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with teams across Finance, Sustainability, Operations, and Strategy to transform data into actionable insights and challenge existing ways of working to deliver greater value.

Your primary focus will be supporting NHG's financial performance by leading initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and cost control, initially concentrating on energy-related projects but also contributing to wider programmes and ad hoc tasks as business needs evolve.

You will be instrumental in embedding a customer-centric approach within financial practices, aligning financial strategies with customer needs to improve service delivery and help achieve organisational objectives.

Main responsibilities include:
- Driving financial performance and cost control through high-quality financial insights and supporting business cases in partnership with senior stakeholders
- Supporting strategic and operational decision-making via effective business partnering
- Analysing and interpreting financial data to provide actionable recommendations considering financial implications
- Contributing to financial planning and reporting ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance
- Leading and supporting organisation-wide process improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency, transparency, and value delivery
- Collaborating closely with the Finance Business Improvement Lead to challenge current processes, reduce manual work, and identify automation and simplification opportunities
- Working with teams such as Assets and Sustainability, Operations, Analytics, and Strategy to promote data-driven decision-making

Experience
- Proven experience working across multiple projects and stakeholder groups with adaptability and agility
- Strong analytical skills to contribute to strategic discussions and data analysis
- Experience in business partnering and supporting operational and tactical decision-making

- A qualified CCAB accounting professional adhering to ethical standards
- Collaborative and committed to organisational values and team objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement within teams
- Versatile and able to work across diverse teams and projects
- Strong Excel skills with a willingness to learn D365 and Power BI

Qualifications
- Hold a CCAB recognised accounting qualification
- Pending legislative changes, there may be an expectation to study towards further professional qualifications if not already qualified
