About the Role
Aramark UK is recruiting a Cook to join our Education sector team at Waltham Forest College. You will provide breakfast and lunch service for approximately 250 – 350 covers daily. This role involves overseeing food production and service to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality meal preparation. You will prepare food according to recipe specifications, menu requirements, and quality standards while minimising waste. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, supervising General Assistants, and training new employees on food preparation, customer service, and safety procedures. You will ensure compliance with HACCP, COSHH, allergen regulations, and company food safety policies, including accurate record keeping. Additional duties include tracking inventory, completing stock checks, placing orders, managing stock rotation, handling customer enquiries and dietary requirements, and assisting the Chef Manager in managing food costs and waste targets. You will maintain production records, temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and documentation required for audits and compliance. Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is required.
