About the Role
Corporate Treasury is a team of specialists responsible for managing the firm’s funding, liquidity, capital, and relationships with creditors and regulators. As a member of the Corporate Treasury Divisional Risk & Governance team, you will focus on identifying and monitoring risk within the Corporate Treasury area. You will proactively hunt for risks across supported business units and employ components of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework to continuously measure and assess risk levels for existing and new processes. The team works closely with 2nd and 3rd Lines of Defense to improve consistency in risk measurement and assessment practices across front-to-back businesses.
Key responsibilities include embedding yourself within the business to manage risk proactively, conducting risk reviews, challenging and enhancing the risk and control framework, partnering with business units to understand residual risks, and engaging with Technology and cross-asset teams. You will also work on risk analysis by identifying key risk metrics, driving risk discussions, managing Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), and collaborating with global risk management teams to share initiatives and best practices.
Experience
Proven experience in operational processing and control requirements within the financial industry, preferably with practical experience working in Operations. About you
Energetic self-starter with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills to articulate issues and ideas across various levels of Operations and Federation stakeholders.
