About the Role
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. It also provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, Operations develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.
You will join a fast-paced, dynamic team with broad connectivity across the firm, supporting a franchise-critical process. Collaborating with cross-Federation teams globally, you will manage the firm’s daily cash payment instructions. This role offers the opportunity to learn about the firm’s diverse businesses and their client support, while working closely with key banks and internal payments teams to ensure smooth execution and manage business risks.
Treasury Services, a subdivision of Operations, focuses on mitigating counterparty credit risk through active monitoring of clients’ derivative and securities financing portfolios while optimizing the firm’s liquidity. With over 300 staff globally, Treasury Services operates across multiple regions including London.
The Central Authentication function within Payments Governance services all clients firm-wide, streamlining processes through innovative cyber-technology and industry best practices. You will help manage the day-to-day payment authentication process and collaborate with the global team to define and build the target operating model for this function.
Key responsibilities include partnering with business units to ensure best practices in payments, verifying payment instruction accuracy using various systems and direct client interaction, uplifting procedures to improve client service and controls, designing the target operating model, and developing new tools using innovation and business intelligence to streamline processes and mitigate risk.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of one year of full-time Operations work experience. Proven analytical skills and a control mentality. Experience managing day-to-day authentication calls to clients and knowledge of international payments or international payment systems is preferred.

Qualifications
