About the Role
As Curriculum Team Manager, you will provide strong leadership and management to the Creative Arts team, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students and driving continuous improvement across the curriculum. You will play a key role in shaping curriculum delivery, supporting staff development, and ensuring students achieve their qualifications and progress successfully.

You will:
- Lead and manage a team of teaching staff, including recruitment, appraisal and development
- Drive high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across the curriculum
- Monitor performance and use data to improve student outcomes
- Manage staffing resources and ensure effective curriculum delivery
- Lead on quality assurance, including internal verification and compliance
- Support student recruitment, retention, achievement and progression
- Promote positive student behaviour, welfare and personal development
- Contribute to curriculum planning, innovation and growth
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the College to deliver strategic priorities

Requirements

Experience
Proven leadership and management experience within education. Extensive teaching experience within a Creative Arts discipline. Experience of managing teams, performance and complex programmes.

An experienced and inspiring leader with a strong background in Creative Arts education and a passion for student success. Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. A commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding, health & safety and data protection.

Qualifications
A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification. Strong understanding of curriculum development and quality improvement.
