About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and skilled Mathematics teacher to deliver GCSE and A Level Mathematics within a Sixth Form environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Faculty to support high-quality teaching and learning, contribute to cross-curricular activities, and promote positive student outcomes in line with the ethos and values of Coulsdon Sixth Form College.

You will be committed to supporting learners aged 16–19, contributing to curriculum development, assessment, and monitoring of student progress. You will engage fully in Faculty and College activities, including examinations, educational visits, and student guidance. The role requires effective teamwork, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding, equality of opportunity, and continuous professional development.

Experience
Applicants must have relevant teaching experience in Mathematics, ideally within GCSE and A Level contexts. Experience in delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to curriculum development is essential.

About you
You will be enthusiastic, committed to supporting learners aged 16–19, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Strong interpersonal, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You must demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding, equality of opportunity, and continuous professional development. Flexibility to teach a second subject such as Science is desirable.

Qualifications
Applicants must hold a degree in Mathematics or a degree where Mathematics forms a significant part, or a Level 5 Subject Specialism Diploma with relevant teaching experience. A recognised teaching qualification is required or a clear willingness to achieve one.
