We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities for fewer hours (minimum 12). Shift schedules are provided with 3 weeks' notice and flexibility is supported.

Salary
Starting from £14.18 per hour; increases to £15.45 per hour for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be the face of Tesco on the road, delivering groceries directly to customers' homes. This role is more than just driving – it involves providing excellent customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude. Your day will be varied and hands-on, involving physical activity and interaction with customers. You will operate with a degree of independence while having the support of a team at the store.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized, loading the van, checking its roadworthiness, delivering orders within the customer's time slot, communicating any order changes or substitutions, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will also call customers before arrival if early and notify the store if running 30 or more minutes late.

Experience
No specific experience required, but a customer-focused attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications
A valid UK/EU/EEA full or automatic driving licence held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points is required.
