About the Role

The Data Operations (DO) department, within Trade Operations, plays a vital role in supporting the business by managing and maintaining the accuracy and quality of investment reference data across a wide range of products including Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives. You will be responsible for setting up instrument vehicles, maintaining data quality, and supporting multiple internal stakeholders such as Client Reporting, Dealers, Fund Managers, Risk, Compliance, and Performance Teams.

Your duties will include data cleansing, auditing, validation, and ensuring timely updates of investment reference data. You will conduct root-cause investigations, recommend improvements to data integrity, and collaborate with IT and business units to optimize master data processes. Additionally, you will develop quality dashboards, support process and system enhancements, and help refine operational policies and procedures.

Experience
- Minimum five years in financial services focused on security reference data
- Experience in data operations and reference data quality practices within large financial organizations
- Knowledge of Market Data Vendors such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Markit EDM, Sedol Web
- Familiarity with various instrument products including Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Nice to have: IMC, CFA Level 1, basic Excel skills, SQL, VBA
- Understanding of regulatory obligations and adherence to firm policies
