The post holder will be given the opportunity to care for patients experiencing complications of their cancer diagnosis or treatment in an acute setting. It is a varied role, which will involve working in the Acute Oncology Assessment Unit, based in Guy's Cancer Centre, assessing unwell patients, supporting the telephone triage service and working within the AOS Service at St Thomas Hospital. Previous experience of SACT delivery and awareness of the UKONs triage tool is desirable alongside an essential high level of communication.
