About the Role
We have an exciting and engaging role for a Digital Skills Tutor at Jewish Care Explore. Our mission is to ensure that older and disabled people have the opportunity and knowledge to engage with mainstream technology and benefit from its many advantages. In today’s digital age, technology offers great opportunities to enhance social connections and increase participation in society and cultural life.

The Digital Skills Tutor will provide operational coordination of the Jewish Care Explore centre based in North West London, oversee the outreach programme, and deliver front-line training services.

This is a fixed-term position for 18 months, focused on delivering digital tutoring and training to individual clients and groups, developing training programs, and working closely with volunteers to support digital inclusion among older and disabled people.

Experience
Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in training and health and social care. Experience providing training to older and disabled people or developing and delivering activities for these groups is essential.

About you
A competent and enthusiastic ICT user, confident with PCs, tablets, and mobile devices including applications such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facetime. You have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to relate positively and inclusively to people from diverse backgrounds, and the empathy to understand and embody Jewish Care’s value of meaningful lives. You are passionate about inclusion and committed to supporting older and disabled people to engage fully in all aspects of life.

Qualifications
A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in training and health and social care is required. Knowledge and interest in the potential of digital technology to transform lives is highly desirable.
