About the Role
Notting Hill Genesis, one of London's largest housing associations, is seeking a Paralegal to join our Legal Disrepair team. You will manage and oversee all aspects of your own disrepair caseload from receipt of the initial letter of claim through to legal settlement and completion of works. Working closely with disrepair coordinators, surveyors, and other teams, you will ensure an efficient and effective legal resolution to all cases.

You will drive effective, pre-litigation resolutions that are both practically achievable and cost effective, making decisions collaboratively with operational teams while placing the resident at the centre of every decision. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing your own caseload, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, applying your knowledge of relevant laws and procedures, concluding cases timely and cost-effectively, collating documentation to fulfil disclosure obligations, drafting legal documents such as Part 36 offers and settlement agreements, representing NHG in external settings including court and multi-agency meetings, and preparing all necessary legal documentation including bundles, evidence, and witness statements.

We support flexible working arrangements that foster collaboration combined with the power of in-person interactions, expecting attendance in the office three times a week to craft exceptional customer experiences and achieve outstanding business outcomes.
