About the Role
Brent is a vibrant London borough known for its diversity and dynamic community. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support, monitor, evaluate, and audit the impact and effectiveness of SEN provision and inclusion funding (SENIF) for young children with additional needs across the borough. You will work with Private, Voluntary and Independent (PVI) nurseries, childminders, school-based nursery classes, and enhanced provisions to ensure high quality early years SEND provision and best value outcomes.
The post requires strong expertise in promoting high quality early years SEND provision alongside financial auditing of settings. You will be responsible for assessing the quality of ordinarily available provision using Ofsted inspection outcomes, local authority quality frameworks, and agreed performance indicators. The role involves travelling within the borough to visit early years education settings.
This is a key position for an experienced early years professional passionate about advising on high quality support, ensuring best value for money, and auditing impact to improve outcomes for children and families in Brent.
Experience
Proven experience as an early years or teaching professional supporting children with additional needs. Experience in monitoring quality of provision and financial auditing within early years settings. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an advisory role to promote progress in early years SEND.
Knowledge of legislation relating to early years and SEND, safeguarding, and financial management or auditing is essential.

Qualifications
