The Education Training & Development (ET&D) Administrator will provide high quality support for the delivery of educational activities within the Trust. This includes administrative maintenance, development of the Learning Management System (LMS), and responsibility for specific learning and development projects. The role involves working collaboratively with the Education and Training Delivery Manager and Learning Systems Manager to coordinate Mandatory and Statutory Training, acting as a first point of contact for key activities, and delivering a friendly, confident, and proactive customer service to learners.

The post holder will provide advice and support to Trust staff, managers, and clients on core operations and systems across the ET&D department, working flexibly across the team to support various areas of delivery including systems and processes.

Main Duties
- Co-ordinate and support training activities, develop systems and specific projects within ET&D
- Maintain and record training activities completed by staff across the Trust
- Produce reports, papers, and presentations for a range of stakeholders
- Organise and lead on room bookings for meetings and training events
- Produce and maintain standard operating procedures for administrative tasks
- Respond to queries from staff, managers, and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
- Gather feedback from training activities and record/share appropriately
- Ensure all Statutory and Mandatory training topics are accessible and diverse
- Travel to community sites for Community Statutory and Mandatory Training Days (e.g. Sunshine House, Gracefield Gardens, Burrell Street, and between Guy’s and St Thomas’ sites)
- Ensure all data is logged accurately, securely, and in a timely manner

The ET&D department is part of the Trust’s Workforce Directorate and is committed to continuous improvement and development. The service leads on pan-trust training and learning solutions to support clinical and corporate governance, facilitating professional and personal development aligned with Trust objectives.

ET&D staff are expected to develop areas of expertise and possess a broad knowledge and skill base to deliver and support a range of departmental functions.

Project Responsibilities
- Liaise with training providers, staff, and managers on specific projects
- Participate in project management teams and working groups to identify needs and solutions
- Support the delivery of blended learning solutions including webinars and online resources
- Assist in implementing evaluation systems for mandatory programmes to ensure continuous improvement
- Plan and deliver system projects to improve data capture and sharing
- Manage project risks and benefits, develop contingency plans, and balance stakeholder priorities

Communication
- Maintain and update ET&D mandatory training pages on the Trust intranet
- Liaise with the communications team to raise staff awareness of training activities via bulletins and PC wallpapers
- Promote available training options and provide updates to staff

Service Improvement
- Advocate change and development to support education delivery across the Trust
- Contribute to the implementation of departmental strategic aims and objectives
- Propose improvements to working practices and service delivery
- Actively participate in team meetings and suggest quality improvements

Requirements

Experience
- Essential: Experience in event co-ordination/management
- Essential: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Desirable: Experience in reporting data
- Desirable: Experience working in Training and Development

- Excellent organisational skills
- Knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements is desirable

Qualifications
- Essential: Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
