About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference and creating positive social impact? As an Employment Advisor (Restart Advisor), you will play a transformational role in coaching and empowering individuals. You will help participants unlock their potential and guide them toward sustainable employment through career coaching, personal development, and addressing complex and varied challenges.

Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and outline steps to secure meaningful employment. You will meet and exceed performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community.

You will also signpost participants to internal and external services addressing needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching. Ensuring participants have well-crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements, and cover letters to support job searches will be part of your role. Additionally, you will prepare participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessment activities to build their confidence.

Maintaining accurate electronic participant records reflecting the broad spectrum of support offered—from coaching through to employment placement—within required timescales and standards is essential.

Ingeus partners with governments, employers, and local organizations to design and deliver services that solve complex social and technological challenges, improving opportunities and creating strong societies where people have the independence, knowledge, and skills to thrive. Our culture is built on dignity, respect, and recognising the value of every individual’s contribution.
