About the Role
Lift Kingswood is continuing to thrive and grow, welcoming more pupils into our community from September 2026. To support this exciting growth, we are looking for a passionate and talented English Teacher to join our team and help strengthen our outstanding provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners who want to make a real difference in an exceptional school environment.
We are seeking someone who can inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their very best, deliver engaging and innovative lessons that bring English to life, work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure outstanding teaching in every classroom, and model and promote the values of our school both in and beyond the classroom.
Join us at this exciting time in our journey and help shape the next chapter of Lift Kingswood. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people.
About our School
Lift Kingswood is a national beacon of educational excellence where students perform well above the national average across all subjects, placing the academy as one of the highest performing schools in the region. The school was recently recognised by Ofsted for its Outstanding provision for personal development, behaviour and safety, and leadership and management. This reflects the relentless dedication, hard work, and ambition of the entire school community. The inspection also highlighted the school's exceptional achievements in fostering a rich, dynamic learning environment where both pupils and staff thrive.
Candidates are encouraged to view this post as a three-year development pathway to the next stage of their career rather than a limited 'insert' post. The innovative and dedicated training and CPD at Kingswood Academy is exceptional.
