About the Role
As the Events and Private Dining Assistant Manager for British Pullman, A Belmond Train, you will support the development and delivery of an exceptional guest experience. This role involves providing administrative, operational, and secretarial support to the business while overseeing and delivering a seamless, luxury experience for private dining guests. You will manage client relationships, coordinate personalised arrangements, and ensure flawless end-to-end service. Reporting to the Events & Guest Experience Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual passionate about excellence and storytelling in travel, with strong cultural awareness and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.

Primary responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for private dining and event enquiries, managing client relationships, coordinating bookings, preparing proposals, and delivering exceptional service from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up. You will coordinate and oversee the end-to-end planning and delivery of private dining experiences, group bookings, charters, and bespoke events, ensuring all operational, guest, and client requirements are executed to the highest standard.

Additionally, you will support the smooth administration and commercial management of events, including contracts, invoicing, forecasting, reporting, operational coordination, and deputising for the Events & Guest Experience Manager when required. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will communicate event requirements, manage logistics, maintain compliance with operational and brand standards, and drive continuous improvement through feedback and post-event reviews.

You will champion the Celia private dining brand through expert product knowledge, client presentations, site visits, and proactive identification of opportunities to enhance the guest experience, grow revenue, and strengthen the events proposition.
