About the Role
The role of the Practice Nurse is to work within their scope of practice, providing and delivering a high standard of nursing care. The Practice Nurse will safely meet the patients' needs, which include undertaking routine procedures such as measuring and interpreting blood glucose levels, recording and interpreting vital signs, wound care, adult and childhood immunisations, smear tests, and various long-term condition checks and reviews. The successful applicant will be expected to carry out planned care for our patients while demonstrating flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and IT skills are essential for effective communication with patients and the healthcare team.

Experience
Previous experience in a nursing role is preferred but not mandatory.

You are flexible, a good team worker, and accustomed to working under pressure. You possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills and can communicate effectively with both patients and colleagues.

Qualifications
Relevant nursing qualifications and registration with the appropriate nursing body are required.
