The Facilities Team Leader will assist the Facilities Manager with the day-to-day management of Facilities Services, focusing on Housekeeping and Patient Food Services. You will be responsible for operational teams across wards and departments, monitoring and addressing issues related to the environment and building fabric. The role requires managing services within budgetary constraints, developing staff through training, and maintaining strong communication and working relationships across departments.

Key responsibilities include ensuring facilities services meet quality and contractual standards, managing teams to achieve objectives, conducting staff appraisals, motivating and developing staff, coordinating education and training, and providing leadership through change. You will be accountable for deploying resources effectively to deliver agreed outputs and key performance indicators.

Qualifications
- Equivalent supervisory experience or NVQ Level 3

Skills and Knowledge
- Good knowledge of IT systems including Outlook and Excel
- Ability to lift and move equipment in line with manual handling requirements
