About the Service and Team
The Income and Finance Team consists of a Team Leader, 3 Income Officers, and 1 Finance Officer. Income Officers manage rent accounts for clients placed in Emergency Accommodation, progressing arrears actions according to policies and procedures, and meeting income collection KPIs. The Finance Officer is responsible for invoice processing, raising rent in advance invoices, prevention payment requests, assisting with year-end functions, and recording payments from various budget streams.
About the Role
- Processing and reconciling monthly supplier invoices to ensure accurate billing for all clients placed, liaising with suppliers to resolve issues
- Managing Purchase Orders for nightly paid accommodation and ad hoc requests across the Housing Advice Service
- Collaborating with the Lettings Team to raise rent in advance invoices and arrange repayment plans
- Performing account reconciliations
- Supporting year-end closing activities including accruals
