About the Role
Join Lambeth Council’s Community Works Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) as an FRA Multi-Trade Operative, delivering Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) remedial repairs across the borough’s housing stock. You will work as part of a multi-disciplined team to complete high-quality, FRA-compliant repairs within cost, quality, and safety standards, ensuring all works meet BM Trada standards and current fire safety regulations.

Working closely with the FRA Supervisor, Manager, and Planners, you will efficiently complete multi-trade remedial works to a “right first time” standard, using handheld devices to manage and prioritise work orders. The role requires travelling between sites across the borough, so a full UK manual driving licence is essential.

Successful candidates will undertake BM Trada fire-door installation and maintenance training, including a two-day initial course followed by approximately nine months of site-based assessments.

Lambeth Council is a vibrant community with bold ambitions for the future through the Lambeth 2030 Plan ‘Our Future, Our Lambeth’. Working here means contributing to a diverse and dynamic borough with exceptional schools, green spaces, cultural landmarks, and world-renowned institutions.

- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, stakeholders, and contractors.

About you
- Motivated and passionate about providing high-quality services.
