As a Functional Assessor, your primary responsibilities will include conducting health and disability assessments to understand each person's unique needs, carrying out Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments for individuals of working age with long-term physical or mental health conditions or disabilities, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions, and collaborating with colleagues to provide high-quality service and contribute to continuous service improvement across the UK.
Experience
At least 12 months post-registration experience gained in the UK as an NMC registered nurse or HCPC registered paramedic, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist. Experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions is preferred.

Strong critical analysis and logical thinking skills. Proficiency in IT tools for documentation and communication. Passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality assessments. Comfortable working within a supportive team environment and adapting to specialist training and development opportunities.
Qualifications
Current UK registration with NMC (RGN, RNLD, RMN) or HCPC as a paramedic, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist. Full DWP accreditation will be supported through training.
