The Commodities desk is unique in that its products are at the center of a changing world, influenced daily by the environment, scientific research and development, geopolitics, and global supply lines. We service a broad range of clients including investors, commodity producers, and consumers, providing innovative and bespoke risk-management and financing solutions. This role offers an invaluable opportunity to sharpen your skills and build a deep and broad foundation of product knowledge.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining derivatives pricing models across multiple sub-asset classes such as Gas & Power, Oil Products, and Metals; building algorithms and models for automated pricing and quoting of derivatives; expanding automated pricing capabilities to new underliers and payoffs while solving idiosyncratic challenges; contributing to physical commodities and structured transactions; and participating in all stages of the software development life cycle. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams supporting the underlying infrastructure and frameworks.
Experience
Experience in object-oriented programming with languages such as C++, Java, or Python. Experience in finance or a cutting-edge technology company is preferred. Prior experience in Commodities is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications
Excellent academic record in a relevant quantitative field such as Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
