About the Role
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients globally. It also delivers essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, Operations develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with institutional clients, sales and trading desks, technology, and other business partners to deliver best-in-class client service, solve complex problems, and influence change. You will utilize your analytical skills to control risks and drive efficiencies in a fast-paced environment.
The Fixed Income Sales and Trading Services team facilitates intraday processing and exception management of trade breaks for Fixed Income products, performing operational reconciliations on trade date and post trade date to ensure successful trade flow and books and records balancing. The team also executes projects aimed at balance sheet optimization and operational efficiency, working closely with regional and global offices.
In this role, you will develop strong product, industry, and technical knowledge to facilitate transaction flow and anticipate potential trade issues. The position requires frequent communication with traders, salespeople, and other Operations teams, as well as Compliance, Credit, and Technology to resolve trade execution issues, client queries, and new business challenges. Additionally, you will help drive workflow improvements across the organization.
Experience
- At least 1-2 years of work experience in Finance or a related field
- Competency with MS Suite, especially Excel, and ability to learn multiple programs quickly
