We are seeking a professional to join our Investment Banking team in London within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). FIG provides corporate clients across the financial institutions spectrum with advice, access to financing, and execution expertise across a wide range of investment banking products.

As an Analyst or Associate, you will play an important role in developing and strengthening client relationships, participating on advisory teams, and structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Responsibilities include creating and analyzing financial models, organizing and preparing client presentations, managing transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions. You will gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expand your knowledge of the investment banking industry while developing key analytical, communication, and marketing skills.

Associates develop financial models, perform customized company valuation analysis, and are actively involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions as well as fixed income and equity issuances. You will organize and prepare presentations explaining industry trends, assess clients’ situations to provide financial advice, and recommend strategies to meet client goals. Additionally, you will coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions, lead due diligence processes, and actively participate in negotiating legal documentation. From maintaining client communication to helping structure client transactions, Associates are vital to Goldman Sachs’ banking team investments.

Experience
2-5 years of investment banking or equivalent experience. Proven track record of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
