The Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team within AWM is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and executing financing agreements for funds and products managed by Goldman Sachs. The team ensures global consistency in terms and risk management while managing lender and counterparty relationships to originate and optimize debt capital for various investment products. This capital is critical to delivering strong performance to investors.

We are seeking an Associate in London to support financing and refinancing efforts for portfolio companies within our Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Sustainability funds. This role involves negotiating and executing financing transactions, developing and maintaining key lending relationships, supporting deal teams and portfolio companies with ongoing financing needs and exit preparations, and collaborating with DCM colleagues across investment verticals to innovate new financing solutions.

Experience
3-5 years of experience in asset management; experience in a fund capital markets team, large lending institution, or debt advisory role preferred.
Strong knowledge of alternative asset classes and financing structures.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with successful outcomes.
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Experience with interest rate and FX hedges preferred.
Ability to perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Exemplary work ethic and personal integrity.
