About the Role
The role of a GP Receptionist is essential in providing a welcoming and efficient service to patients. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable to meet the daily needs of the practice, including covering for annual leave and absences when required. You will be responsible for receiving, assisting, and directing patients to the appropriate services or healthcare professionals in a courteous and effective manner. Additionally, you will provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors, whether in person or over the phone. Working closely with other reception staff, you will ensure the smooth running of the reception area and the efficient delivery of services to patients.
Experience
Previous experience in a medical reception role is preferred but not essential.
