About the Role
As a Groups & Events Sales Manager at The Cadogan, you will join a fantastic Sales team dedicated to supporting each other, our exceptional property, and our guests. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and be part of the future of luxury hospitality.
Your primary responsibilities include meeting and exceeding budgeted revenues in Groups and Banqueting as per the annual budget. You will manage all group and event enquiries from initial proposal through to follow-up, contracting, and site inspections to achieve high conversion rates. Managing a portfolio of key assigned accounts through planned sales activities will be essential to maximise account potential in terms of rate, room-nights, and events aligned with overall sales strategies.
You will focus on the growth and continued production of existing group and event accounts, both domestic and international, while proactively seeking new business opportunities and driving new leads. Coordination of all event aspects—from inquiries and contract negotiations to on-site execution and post-event follow-up—will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will manage the banqueting budget and provide accurate forecasts to ensure financial targets are met.
Effective communication with other hotel departments is crucial to ensure smooth operation of in-house groups and functions. Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and client preferences will enable you to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.
