Main responsibilities To adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and be conversant with current professional advice and To maintain own level of clinical competence by reading relevant literature and taking opportunities for personal and professional development To use evidence based practice to develop and maintain a high quality standard of health visiting To participate in audit/ research as required by the health visiting and the Trust To organise the delivery of Health Visiting services to a defined population, including home visiting and provision at other sites Undertake health needs assessments at home and virtual if required with clients and working in partnership with other agencies/services, to implement appropriate individual programmes of care Undertake family centred enhanced support with families with complex health and social needs to improve outcomes for children and families.
