About the Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for driving and operating vehicles and plant equipment to deliver the Bio Recycling service efficiently and profitably within Thames Water sites and to external locations. You will enter deliveries into the cake logging system as appropriate and work collaboratively with other Thames Water employees to support the smooth delivery of Bio Recycling activities. This role involves safely operating vehicles associated with Bio Recycling services at Thames Water sites and external locations. Full training and an excellent benefits package are provided. This position is based in the Crossness Area (East London).

Experience
- Proven experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver is essential for deliveries and plant movements.
- Experience in tipping lorries is beneficial.
- Experience delivering to farms or agricultural sites is desirable.
- Holding a Front-end Loader licence is advantageous.
About you
- You have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence and no DR or IN convictions.
- You demonstrate a clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
- You have a working knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time regulations.
- You are reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications
- A full Driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card are required.
