There will be indirect work via liaison and consultation with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies. The role will also include teaching and training MDT colleagues, research, and evaluation and development of the psychology services in both roles. NHS Children and Young Peoples Gender Service-Southern Hub, London The post holder will be required to join a new team of professionals providing children and young people with an in-depth assessment of their needs, and a care plan will be developed with them and, if needed, those supporting them. Children and young people will be offered a range of care interventions such as individual therapy, family therapy, physical health support, or other mental health support for identified difficulties they may want help with. The team will also liaise with health professionals and other statutory and non-statutory services local to the child or young person to provide a bespoke package of care.
