Varied shifts across the week including Monday to Sunday in three shift blocks: 5:00am - 1:00pm, 1:00pm - 6:00pm, 6:00pm - 10:30pm. Hours will be scheduled to fit around your availability and may vary week to week. Opportunities for overtime, including supporting your local Sainsbury’s, may be available.

About the Role
As a Home Delivery Driver, you will drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver a variety of products to customers’ doorsteps, ensuring timely and safe delivery in excellent condition. You will complete checks to ensure the van is organised, clean, roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before setting off. You will drive safely across a variety of locations and conditions, serving customers with professionalism and supporting them with any questions or updates on delivery status. When not on the road, you will assist in maintaining smooth operations in the stock room or on the shop floor. You will build strong knowledge of products, services, and promotions to provide helpful recommendations. This role requires working in a fast-paced, physical, and high-energy environment, often independently but also as part of a team. You will be fully trained in a variety of skills, with opportunities to learn, develop, and try new things. Embracing new digital tools and technology is essential to perform your job effectively.

Experience
Proficient driving a large vehicle in various locations including busy residential streets and narrow country lanes. Experience delivering to a variety of residential properties is essential. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment and using initiative to solve problems.

Qualifications
You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points. You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of the interview and a driving assessment upon joining. Right to Work eligibility in the UK is required. Ability to work a variety of shifts across the week as described in the Hours section.
