About the Role
Ealing Council has an exciting opportunity for a Home Ownership Officer (Sales & Alterations) to join the Home Ownership Services team, which manages nearly 5,000 leasehold properties across Ealing. The team is responsible for the Right to Buy Scheme, new build/shared ownership sales and staircasing, lease extensions, enfranchisement, alterations to leasehold properties, deeds of variation, and home information packs.

As a Home Ownership Officer, you will be a self-motivated, customer-focused professional responsible for delivering a high-quality service that achieves excellent customer satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Housing, the Council, and the Leaseholder Resident Association to provide residents with an outstanding home ownership and leasehold management service.

Your key responsibility will be processing Right to Buy (RTB) applications through to completion in line with procedures, communicating effectively with customers regarding eligibility and application status, and maintaining a strong knowledge of key RTB legislation.

Experience
Proven experience in all aspects of leasehold services including staircasing, shared ownership resales, lease extensions, sub-letting, and pre-sale enquiries. Experience working in a dynamic, busy housing environment is essential.

About you
You are able to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines with excellent organisational and IT skills. You demonstrate the ability to maintain focus and deliver excellent customer service while working under pressure.
