About the Role
As a Hospitality Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent service during events and hospitality functions. Your responsibilities will include meeting and greeting clients, setting up and maintaining function areas and hospitality rooms, and preparing all hospitality requirements to ensure smooth service. You will be responsible for cleaning and sterilising all food trolley containers and trolleys, ensuring all pantry areas are clean, hygienic, and tidy at all times. You will also manage the return of used crockery and service ware to the kitchen in an orderly manner. Additionally, you will accept deliveries and place them in appropriate store rooms as directed by the Team Leader. In the absence of the AV technician, you will provide additional AV support to clients. You will also issue stock to other departments as directed and monitor stock levels to maintain efficient operations.
Experience
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks is important.
About you
You should be friendly, approachable, and able to provide excellent customer service. You must be organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team. A good eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are essential.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role, although a background in hospitality or catering would be advantageous.
