About the Role
As a Housekeeping Steward at Britannic Explorer, a Belmond Train, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for delivering an exceptional housekeeping service to our guests. Your duties will include maintaining all guest cabins and public areas to the highest standards, performing back of house tasks, and ensuring all service preparations are completed punctually. You will provide excellent customer service in line with Belmond and Leading Quality Assurance standards, make guest beds with fresh linen, replenish guest amenities, and report any maintenance issues. Additionally, you will assist with general onboard duties such as greeting guests, helping with luggage, and supporting other operational departments as needed. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to a legacy of luxury travel.

Experience
1-2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.

About you
Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK. Ability to work effectively under pressure, follow instructions, and work independently when required. Knowledge of housekeeping operations including cleaning practices, hygiene, safety and security, chemicals, cleaning equipment, bed-making, and arranging guest supplies. COSHH knowledge and awareness is essential.

Qualifications
Hospitality qualification is an advantage but not essential.
