About the Role
We regularly recruit for Housing Officers and are building a talent pool of candidates for future opportunities across our Operations Directorate. As a Housing Officer, you will play a key role in delivering excellent services to residents and helping to create places where people feel safe, supported and proud to live. You will take ownership of a portfolio of homes and schemes, building strong relationships with residents and understanding the issues that matter most to them. Being visible, approachable and proactive, you will help resolve problems, improve satisfaction and ensure residents receive a consistent, high-quality service. You will work closely with colleagues, contractors, managing agents and local stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes and act as a strong advocate for residents.

Your responsibilities will include building strong relationships with residents, responding to queries and concerns and ensuring issues are resolved effectively. You will conduct estate inspections and work with contractors and internal teams to maintain safe, well-managed homes and neighbourhoods. You will investigate and resolve complaints, anti-social behaviour cases and other resident concerns, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout. Managing service charges within your portfolio, you will ensure transparency, fairness and effective communication with residents.
