About the Role
We regularly recruit for Housing Officers and are building a pipeline of candidates for future opportunities across our Operations Directorate. By joining our talent pool, you'll be considered for upcoming vacancies and contacted when a suitable opportunity becomes available. As a Housing Officer, you will play a key role in delivering excellent services to residents and helping to create places where people feel safe, supported and proud to live. You will take ownership of a portfolio of homes and schemes, building strong relationships with residents and understanding the issues that matter most to them. Being visible, approachable and proactive, you will help resolve problems, improve satisfaction and ensure residents receive a consistent, high-quality service. You will work closely with colleagues, contractors, managing agents and local stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes and act as a strong advocate for residents.

Future opportunities based in Hammersmith will cover one or more of the following patches: West & Central.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with residents, responding to queries and concerns and ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
- Conducting estate inspections and working with contractors and internal teams to maintain safe, well-managed homes and neighbourhoods.
- Investigating and resolving complaints, anti-social behaviour cases and other resident concerns, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout.
- Managing service charges within your portfolio, ensuring transparency, fairness and effective communication with residents.
- Working with managing agents, contractors and stakeholders to improve services and resolve issues promptly.
- Using resident feedback, performance information and local knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the resident experience.

We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from everyone.

Recruitment Process
Applications will be reviewed and candidates may be invited to complete an assessment or screening call to understand their skills and suitability. Successful candidates will be added to our talent pool and considered for future vacancies. Due to the nature of talent pool recruitment, not all applicants will be contacted immediately. Appointment to this post is conditional upon a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
