About the Role
We are building a talent pool for future Housing Officer opportunities across our Operations Directorate. As a Housing Officer, you will play a key role in delivering excellent services to residents and helping to create places where people feel safe, supported and proud to live. You will take ownership of a portfolio of homes and schemes, building strong relationships with residents and understanding the issues that matter most to them.
By being visible, approachable and proactive, you will help resolve problems, improve satisfaction and ensure residents receive a consistent, high-quality service. You will work closely with colleagues, contractors, managing agents and local stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes and act as a strong advocate for residents.
Future opportunities will be based in Kings Cross and cover one or more of the following patches: North, East, Central & OOL.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with residents, responding to queries and concerns and ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
- Conduct estate inspections and work with contractors and internal teams to maintain safe, well-managed homes and neighbourhoods.
- Investigate and resolve complaints, anti-social behaviour cases and other resident concerns, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout.
- Manage service charges within your portfolio, ensuring transparency, fairness and effective communication with residents.
- Work with managing agents, contractors and stakeholders to improve services and resolve issues promptly.
- Use resident feedback, performance information and local knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the resident experience.

Experience
