Housing Officer
Location
Kings Hall Mews, London, covering schemes in Essex and the London Boroughs of Redbridge and Havering.
Hours
Full Time - 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with occasional out of hours working as required.
Salary
£35,951 to £39,531 per annum (London weighted salary) dependent on experience, plus ECU Allowance*
About the Role
Join the L&Q Living Supported Housing Team as a Housing Officer within our Housing Management Team. You will provide frontline housing management services for vulnerable customers aged 55 and over, and those with learning disabilities and mental health support needs. This role involves working across a patch of schemes in Essex and London Boroughs of Redbridge and Havering, supporting customers to maintain their independence and live well.
You will be responsible for delivering a reliable, consistent, and high-quality housing management service including tenancy sign-ups and visits, health and safety checks, ensuring maintenance and repairs are completed, resolving neighbour disputes and anti-social behaviour, and offering tenancy advice and resident meetings. You will play a key role in improving resident satisfaction and building trust within the community.
This is an agile working role with 20% to 40% of contractual hours worked from the reporting office or working location. The post requires essential car user status with a full driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use. A Basic Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this role.

Experience
- Housing management experience working with vulnerable people
- Working knowledge of health and safety requirements related to property management
- Proficient in using complex IT and housing systems, including MS Office and remote working technology
- Strong written communication skills with experience in report writing and producing clear, accurate correspondence

Qualifications
