Location
South East London, primarily based in Laurence House with a hybrid working approach requiring regular office and home working.

Hours
Flexible working arrangements with occasional ad-hoc meetings in evenings or weekends as required.

Salary
£64,938 - £69,660 per annum (SMG1). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point for the grade unless matching current salary with evidential proof.

About the Role
Join Lewisham Council and make a difference to our vibrant and culturally diverse communities. As Housing Services Manager, you will oversee the Housing Management and Tenancy Fraud functions for Lewisham residents and manage relationships with two Tenant Management Organisations. You will work closely with internal teams, departments, and external organisations to ensure the service meets all regulatory and statutory responsibilities. Key responsibilities include producing high-quality reports and management information, ensuring full responses to complaints, maintaining up-to-date policies and procedures, and deputising for the Head of Housing and Communities. Requirements

Experience
Significant experience managing a front line housing management service with a passion for delivering excellent customer care and putting residents at the heart of the service.

About you
You have strong relationship-building skills and can work effectively across teams and organisations to deliver outcomes. You have an eye for accuracy and ensure quality and consistency of published digital content within content management systems. You are skilled in content creation, including messaging, editorial, and tone of voice, and excel at supporting service-based content editors to keep webpages accurate and up to date. You have excellent people skills and experience working alongside a diverse range of individuals.

Qualifications
Relevant CIH Level 4 qualification is required. The role is subject to a basic DBS check.
