Location
Hybrid, remote and office-based (three days per week or equivalent for part time). Based at either South Eastern Regional Office at Lift Greensward (Hockley) or North Eastern Regional Office at Lift New Rickstones (Witham), with travel to schools as needed.

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary
£37,938 - £40,476 (dependent on prior experience) plus well-being cash plan, pension scheme (LGPS) and additional Lift Schools benefits

About the Role
Make a lasting impact on education by joining Lift Schools as a confident, proactive HR Advisor within our East regional team. You will provide clear, expert HR guidance and build strong, trusted relationships with school leaders and colleagues. Your responsibilities will include offering proactive, customer-focused HR advice, leading on HR casework such as disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters, and supporting continuous improvement by helping to shape HR processes and systems. You will also analyse HR data and contribute to reports for leaders and the regional team, ensuring practical advice on employment legislation, best practice and policies is consistently delivered.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience as an HR Advisor, ideally within the public or education sector, though this is not essential.

About you
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A collaborative approach with the ability to work independently. A genuine commitment to Lift Schools’ values and the impact of education.

Qualifications
A CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience is required.
