This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Inpatient Ward Administration team, supporting the smooth running of ward services and contributing to excellent patient care.

As an Inpatient Ward Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely electronic patient records, ensuring patient admissions, discharges, and transfers are recorded correctly, and liaising with clinical and administrative teams. You will act as a key point of contact for IT systems on the ward, supporting training and troubleshooting, and ensuring patient notes are available promptly. Your role will also include welcoming patients and visitors, managing patient transport arrangements, handling correspondence, ordering ward supplies, and supporting general ward administration duties.

This position is ideal for someone enthusiastic, motivated, and keen to develop a career within NHS administration. You will need excellent customer service skills, strong IT knowledge, and the ability to prioritise and communicate effectively in a busy healthcare environment.

Experience
- Administration or reception experience is essential
- Customer service or reception-based experience is desirable
