About the Role
United Response is seeking a hands-on Integration & Automation Engineer to design, build, and support integrations, automations, APIs, and data pipelines across our core business systems. Working primarily within the Microsoft technology stack, you will play a key role in connecting platforms, improving data quality, reducing manual processes, and supporting major digital transformation programmes including digital rostering.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions using tools such as Microsoft Fabric, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and SQL. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into practical, supportable solutions while driving continuous improvement across the organisation.

Requirements

Experience
- Strong experience building and supporting integrations, automations, and data pipelines within a Microsoft-focused environment
- Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIs, SQL, Microsoft Fabric or Data Factory
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, validation, and quality controls
- Confident integrating third-party applications using practical integration approaches
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues end-to-end and deliver resilient, supportable solutions
- Experience working with suppliers, coordinating technical delivery, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are stated; however, relevant technical certifications or equivalent experience in Microsoft technologies and integration platforms will be advantageous.
