About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Projects Manager to join Unilever Prestige UK Hub on a 4-month fixed-term contract. This role balances maintaining smooth day-to-day operations with driving the delivery of a new warehouse opening. Initially, you will lead daily Order to Cash operations across B2B and DTC channels through peak periods, managing 3PL, transport, and carrier partners to resolve order exceptions, logistics disruptions, and inventory issues. You will monitor key operational KPIs such as OTIF, SLA performance, and inventory accuracy, taking prompt action when performance falls below expectations. Additionally, you will support the year-end stock count and reconciliation alongside Finance and the 3PL.
From January, as day-to-day operations transition to the incoming Operations & Logistics Manager, your focus will shift primarily to project delivery. You will act as the operational lead for the new warehouse opening, collaborating closely with the Project Lead to drive delivery against agreed milestones. Responsibilities include owning the project plan, action log, and weekly governance to ensure stakeholder alignment on milestones, risks, actions, and key decisions. You will lead warehouse readiness planning, including inventory planning, ERP–WMS integration, testing, and customer communications. Partnering with Commercial, Planning, Finance, and brand teams, you will ensure customer service is maintained throughout implementation. Additional supply chain projects may also be supported, with full documentation and effective handover at contract end.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain, operations, or logistics management, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-channel FMCG, beauty, or retail environment.
- Hands-on experience managing 3PL partners and delivering new warehouse openings or implementations from requirements through to readiness.
- Essential ERP–WMS integration experience; NetSuite experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to build and manage plans, governance, and action logs across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, particularly through peak trading periods.

About you
- Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership and make an immediate impact.
- Advanced Excel skills with confidence using operational data to identify issues, diagnose root causes, and drive action.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work effectively across multiple functions.
- Available to start in early November 2026.

Qualifications
