About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how Hounslow tells its story to investors, businesses, developers and partners.
As Investment Opportunities Manager, you will play a key role in promoting Hounslow as a global gateway, a place of growth and a major investment destination. You will help develop and deliver the borough’s new place brand, support the launch and ongoing development of our investment website and digital platforms, and create engaging content that brings Hounslow’s opportunities to life.
The role is ideal for someone who combines strong economic development, investment or place-marketing experience with a real flair for digital communications. You will work across websites, data insights, CRM, social media, campaigns, events and stakeholder engagement to help position Hounslow as one of London’s most compelling places to live, work, visit and invest.
You will support the development of tailored investment propositions, contribute to market intelligence and economic analysis, and help identify the sectors, sites and stories that make Hounslow stand out. You will also help coordinate the Council’s presence at major investment events such as MIPIM and UKREiiF, making sure our digital, event and partner activity is joined up and impactful.
Working closely with colleagues in communications, regeneration, economic development and external partners, you will help ensure our content is current, accessible, engaging and commercially focused. This includes supporting the new Destination Hounslow place brand, maintaining digital content, monitoring performance, and finding new ways to reach investors, businesses and decision-makers.
We are looking for someone creative, proactive and commercially minded: someone who can turn data, development opportunities and regeneration priorities into clear, compelling messages. You will be confident building relationships, managing projects, supporting campaigns, and using digital tools to raise Hounslow’s profile.
This is a role for someone who wants to do more than maintain a website or produce content. It is a chance to help build a modern investment offer for one of London’s most diverse, connected and opportunity-rich boroughs.
About the Team You’ll Be Working In
You’ll be joining Hounslow’s Regeneration and Economic Growth service at an exciting moment, as we build a more proactive and visible investment function for the borough. We work to promote Hounslow as one of London’s most connected and opportunity-rich places.
We are an ambitious and outward-facing team with a big brief: implementing a new place brand, strengthening our digital presence, creating investment propositions, supporting major events and building stronger relationships with businesses, investors, developers and partners.
This is a team where digital marketing skills can make a real impact. You’ll help us bring Hounslow’s story to life through engaging website content, digital campaigns, data-led insights, CRM, social media, events and stakeholder communications.
Working closely with colleagues across the Council and with external partners, you’ll help shape how we reach audiences, promote opportunities and raise Hounslow’s profile. For someone creative, collaborative and commercially minded, this is a chance to help build a modern place-marketing and inward investment offer from the ground up.
Experience

About you
Creative, proactive and commercially minded individual who can turn data, regeneration priorities and local success stories into clear, engaging content.

Motivated by the opportunity to promote one of London’s most diverse, connected and opportunity-rich boroughs.
