About the Role
The role of IT Project Coordinator at JCDecaux is essential in supporting the successful planning, coordination, and execution of various projects within the IT Division. Reporting directly to the Programme Office Director, you will work closely with Project Managers and Directors to ensure projects align with business needs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and working practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and coordinating project activities
- Support the development of project plans and schedules
- Maintain project documentation including plans, schedules, and reports
- Monitor project progress and report issues or risks to the project manager
- Facilitate communication among project team members and stakeholders
- Schedule and organise project meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes
- Ensure project deliverables are communicated and understood by all stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project logs including action items, risks, issues, and changes
- Assist in preparation and distribution of project status reports
- Manage project-related administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document control
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by examining outcomes and implementing improvements
- Ensure adherence to Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs), addressing any non-adherence with corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT and data management
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and standards
- Assist in review and quality control of project deliverables
- Actively seek learning opportunities from senior team members to develop leadership, methodology, and people skills
- Use own initiative to find work during quieter periods, supporting administrative tasks
- Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Organise and utilise project management templates and tools effectively
- Use project management software to track and report project progress
- Commit to understanding business needs across the organisation and stay informed on best practices in project management

Requirements

Experience
Experience working in project coordination or a related role is advantageous. Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Monday.com is preferred. Basic project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation) or equivalent relevant experience is beneficial.

About you
Educated in a Business, IT, or engineering-related field or possessing relevant industry experience. Excellent written and presentation skills. Strong organisational skills and diligence. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Good analytical, testing, and troubleshooting abilities. Motivated self-starter with proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to self-study for project management certification. Enthusiastic about continuous learning and development.

Qualifications
Basic project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation) or equivalent experience is advantageous but not essential. Proficiency in project management software is preferred. Relevant educational background in Business, IT, or engineering-related fields is desirable.
