About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to landmark infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland as part of the largest and most successful Land team in the industry. This role involves delivering land referencing, land access, landowner and stakeholder engagement, optioneering, and statutory processes. You will support multi-disciplinary teams in securing land access for surveys and infrastructure development, liaising with landowners, legal representatives, planning authorities, contractors, and clients. You will also provide training and mentoring to junior colleagues and participate in our CPD-accredited Land Academy. The role requires commercial awareness, including budget, scope, change control, and risk management, and involves client-facing activities representing WSP at Land Consultant level. Requirements

Experience
- Interest or experience in land services including land referencing, survey access, stakeholder and landowner engagement, or statutory processes.
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Knowledge of project management activities such as budget, scope, change control, and risk identification.
- General IT skills including Microsoft Office suite and basic GIS/mapping tools.
- Experience or knowledge of UK statutory consents (e.g. hybrid Bills, TWAs, DCOs, CPOs, Vesting Orders) and wayleave agreements is advantageous but not essential.

- Willingness and ability to travel to various sites and locations as required.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or transferable skills related to land consulting, infrastructure projects, or project management are desirable but not mandatory. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
