What we’re looking for: Do you have experience and understanding of Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Conditions Claims in England? Do you have experience in a Housing Association or Local authority? Do you have experience in complaints handling? Do you have understanding of Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 Section 11? Do you have knowledge or experience using Microsoft Office - Dynamics, Excel? If you do, this role is perfect for you! Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Legal Disrepair Case Manager on a Permanent basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office and Pitsea office. A bit about the role: As a Disrepair Case Manager within the newly formed Repairs Team, you will be an integral part of the delivery of Peabody’s repairs, maintenance and property services. Working within our centralised support function, and reporting into the Senior Disrepair Case Manager, you will be responsible for the management of disrepair cases, working alongside legal services and operational teams in delivering disrepair works. You will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and customers across Peabody, driving improvements and offering a first-class service to our customers. You will have: Excellent understanding of disrepair case management and the pre-action protocol. Experience in diary management and appointment scheduling. Experience in coordinating and following up on work programme. Experience in investigating and reporting on numerous sources of data. Experience in dealing with a wide range of people including clients, staff, contractors and external agencies. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously, moving from one task to another quickly. This role will require a minimum of 1-2 days working at the Westminster Bridge Road (SE17) or Pitsea (SS13) office.
